SATURDAY:
BOURNEMOUTH V NOTTINGHAM FOREST
These two sides are two of the most in-form teams in the league right now and the two main overperformers this season.
Bournemouth beat one in-form team in Newcastle last weekend where they looked very impressive from the first whistle to the last.
Andoni Iraola's side do have a lot of injuries, but they're not letting that affect them one bit and they deserve credit for that.
Nottingham Forest had to hold on for the win against Southampton after being put under a lot of pressure towards the end of the game.
This game might be similar as Bournemouth are a side who like to put teams on the back foot with their energy and pressing from the front.
I think both teams will go for it here because of the form they're both in. But I think the points will be shared as I don't see either side losing.
PREDICTION: 2-2
BRIGHTON V EVERTON
Brighton blew Everton away when the two sides met on the opening day of the season in what was Fabian Hurzeler's first game in charge.
The Seagulls have some confidence back on board following back to back wins over Ipswich and Man United, after going over an entire month without winning a game.
They were the better side in every single department against Man United last weekend and it's no surprise to see them higher in the table.
Everton surprised a lot of people with their first half display against Spurs and the way they absolutely battered them.
It was good to see Dominic Calvert-Lewin back among the goals in that game and his goal will hopefully be the one that kickstarts his season and career, which has plateaued over the last year or two.
That result will give the Toffees a lot of confidence moving forwards along with the performance. But will they be able to follow it up in this one?
Personally I don't see it happening as I think Brighton will be the side that come away with the points and win this game in a similar way to the previous one.
PREDICTION: 3-1
LIVERPOOL V IPSWICH
It was more or less job done for Liverpool against Lille in midweek where they booked their place in the last 16 of the Champions League.
They might be the favourites to win that competition and understandably so because they're of the league, and have been by far the best team in the competition.
They rested players against Lille in midweek and the players who were rested should be back in from the start for this one. Including Trent Alexander Arnold and Andrew Robertson.
Ipswich gave the reds a good game on the opening day of the season and especially in the first half, which was their best spell of the game.
There have been a lot of games like that for Kieran McKenna's side this season where they've played well, but haven't got the results to match the performances.
Last weekend against Man City wasn't one of them as they were outclassed and well beaten by a side who were far superior in quality.
I think the reds will dish out something similar on them in this one because of the form they're in and the attacking quality they have.
PREDICTION: 4-0
SOUTHAMPTON V NEWCASTLE
Southampton ended their game against Nottingham Forest strongly as they had Forest on the back foot in the latter stages.
Ivan Muric said after that game that he wants his side to play like that over 90 minutes and he as a point as the Saints needs wins and desperately if they're to stay up.
Newcastle looked tired and well off the pace against Bournemouth which brought their good run of form to an end.
They should reenergised ahead of this one, having not played in midweek because of them not being in Europe.
I think they'll return to winning ways with a more than convincing performance here.
PREDICTION: 0-4
WOLVES V ARSENAL
Wolves are still very much in the relegation battle and I'm not expecting them to move out of it anytime soon, due to the tough games they have coming up, including this one.
Vitor Pereira wasn't impressed with Matheus Cunha not thanking the fans after their loss to Chelsea on Monday, and it will be interesting to see if he plays him in this one.
He has to really because Cunha is the best player at the club and if Wolves are to get something from this game, they need their best players on the pitch.
Arsenal put in a professional performance against Dynamo Zagreb in midweek which was never in doubt as they were expected probably expected to win that game.
The Gunners will again be without William Saliba for this one due to injury which is a big blow for them because of how important he is for them.
Mikel Arteta's side do have a number of injuries including Saliba and of course Bukayo Saka. But I still think they'll find a way to win this one.
PREDICTION: 1-2
MAN CITY V CHELSEA
Man City appeared to be turning a corner after dismantling Ipswich 6-0 last weekend, only for them lose control against PSG in midweek.
Letting Kyle Walker leave on loan to AC Milan is a strange decision and especially as he's the captain. I know he hasn't played much recently and he hasn't been the player we all know he is, but I'm still puzzled why they've decided to let him leave on loan.
Chelsea will believe that they can hurt City after watching their defeat against PSG where they were once again exposed defensively.
Enzo Maresca will have hopefully made notes on that game and if I was him, I would do exactly what PSG did in midweek.
The blues have players who can hurt City and because of that, I fancy them to win this game.
PREDICTION: 1-3
SUNDAY:
CRYSTAL PALACE V BRENTFORD
Crystal Palace have the top ten in their sights with the current form they're in after a slow start to the season.
They're beginning to find the form they were in towards the end of last season and one of their main men during that has rediscovered his goal scoring touch in Jean-Philippe Mateta, who has 4 goals in his last 3 games.
Brentford's last away game saw them finally get their first win on the road against Southampton, who they beat very comfortably.
This one will of course be tougher because Palace are in good form and much higher up the table than Southampton.
The Bees will score in this game, but I think Palace will continue their good form and record another win here.
PREDICTION: 2-1
TOTTENHAM V LEICESTER
Spurs didn't turn up in that first half against Everton, and I said after the game and in my key points of the weekend post that Postecoglou is on thin ice that is beginning to crack.
The board must seriously be thinking about Postecoglou's position as manager because of where they are in the league, and the way they're losing games.
They do have a lot of injuries and those injuries have had an impact on their performances and results. But if they lose here the club might have to pull the pug on Postecoglou.
Leicester boss Ruud Van Nistelrooy also finds himself under pressure after watching his side lose seven league games on the bounce.
They're an absolute mess defensively and because of how open they are at the back, this game might actually suit Spurs as they're bound to get plenty of chances.
Postecoglou has said many times that he's not going to change his style of play, and this could be a game where it will work.
PREDICTION: 4-1
ASTON VILLA V WEST HAM
Jhon Duran netted the winner from the bench for Villa when these two sides met on the opening day of the season, against the side who wanted him in the summer.
West Ham have reignited their interest in Duran recently and it will be interesting to see if he plays any part in this game.
Villa come into this game off the back of a disappointing display against Monaco in the Champions League. Their record after playing in Europe has been poor this season and I don't see it changing here.
West Ham were disappointing against Crystal Palace last weekend and Graham Potter will have no doubt found out how tough a job he has on his hands.
His first game in charge of the Hammers was against Villa in the FA Cup a couple of weeks ago where his side put it an encouraging performance.
The Hammers will need to show some kind of reaction here, and I think they will as Villa will feel a bit tired after playing Europe during the week.
PREDICTION: 1-1
FULHAM V MAN UNITED
Fulham have competed well when taking on the big teams this season and have taken points off all of them apart from Man City.
They'll be backing themselves to get result against another one in this game because of the season they've having compared to United.
A lot of people thought Man United were turning a corner after their draws with Liverpool and Arsenal, only for them to lose Brighton and look lethargic.
This again reminds of Liverpool when Jurgen Klopp first arrived as they too got results against the big teams but not against the smaller teams. The only difference between them and United now under Amorim is that Liverpool were higher up in the league, and had less negativity around them.
Amorim made a bold statement after the Brighton defeat when he said that his side could be 'the worst' Man United team ever.
That statement highlights how big a job he has on his hands and where United are as a club. He has a lot to fix if he's to get United to where he wants them to be.
I think Fulham will put more misery on them in this game as they're having a better season and have done well when taking on the big teams.
PREDICTION: 3-1
