Anthony Elanga fulfilling potential at Forest
Anthony Elanga was always a player with potential at Man United, but he wasn't given enough opportunities to show it.
He's definitely getting those chances at Forest though and he's making the most of them. Especially this season as he's already got 8 assists to his name with three of them coming in Forest's 7-0 win over Brighton on Saturday.
He was a constant threat for Forest down that right hand side all game long against Brighton as he got crosses into the box, and both ran in behind the Brighton defence on a number of occasions. He was excellent all game although Chris Wood got a hat trick, Elanga got a hat trick of assists and was arguably the best player on the pitch.
He's been one of Forest's main men this season with the form he's been in and is at a club where he's starting to fulfil his potential. He's playing under a good manager, and with a group of players who are all pulling in the right direction.
Has David Moyes fixed Everton's goal scoring issues?
Everton's main issue over the last few seasons has been scoring goals and it's been the case for them again this season.
But since David Moyes has returned to the club, they've scored eight goals which is more than they managed in Sean Dyche's final five games, where they scored just once.
Could this be a sign that David Moyes has fixed their goal scoring issues?
Their style of play under Moyes is not too dissimilar to what it was under Dyche as they're still tough to beat and defensively strong. But if there is one difference, it's that they commit more men forward under Moyes than they did under Dyche.
Under Dyche, they were a side who would spend most of the game defending before trying to hit the opposition on the counter, and that approach frustrated the fans towards the end of his time there.
Under Moyes, they're a bit more adventurous and that approach has helped them score more goals and win more games.
The Toffees are looking like a side who have got some confidence back and are enjoying their football again since David Moyes returned, and their recent form both in terms of results and in front of goal has give them that.
They still lack that clinical no.9 up top, but if they can keep up the current form they're in, we'll say that their goal scoring issues have been fixed.
Could Brentford win give Spurs a platform to build on?
Spurs finally brought their barren run of form to an end with their win at Brentford on Sunday, where they looked much improved particularly in defence.
Ange Postecoglou has been criticized a lot this season for his inability to be adaptable, but against Brentford he showed that he can adapt as his team spent most of the game defending and defended really well.
Now that they have that all important win under their belt, can it give them a platform to build on?
The nature of their performance and the result will surely give them confidence moving forward, but whether they'll build on it remains to be seen.
Before their terrible run of form, Spurs were very inconsistent both in terms of their results and their performances as they were once again criticized for being Spursy. There is a strong chance that will happen again because of the experience they have of being that sort of team.
They do however have players coming back from injury, and getting these players back will be a big boost for them and for their season. If those players coming back can hit the ground running when they return, and if they can kick on from their result against Brentford, the latter could be the turning point in their season.
Is Myles Lewis-Skelly a future England left back?
Myles Lewis-Skelly has been one of the breakout stars of the season as he's put in a number of terrific performances for Arsenal.
He had another one of those games on Sunday against Man City as he scored his first senior goal, and looked very assured in his defending all game long.
With the performances he's put in this season, could he be a future England left back?
He's definitely got the potential to be one as he's a solid defender, and is also good going forward as we have seen ever since he broke into the Arsenal first team.
He currently plays for England at U19 level, but after breaking into and keeping his place in the Arsenal first team, he surely has to be in contention for a senior call up.
New manager Thomas Tuchel will announce his first squad next month ahead of their World Cup qualifiers against Albania and Latvia, and he'll surely be thinking about including Lewis-Skelly in that first squad because of the form he's been in.
In terms of him being a future England left back, he'll need to impress on international duty so he can how what he can offer the team. For that to happen, he'll need to earn his first senior call up and I'm confident that he will next month.
If he can impress for his country after earning his first call up, and continue to impress for Arsenal both for the rest of this season and the whole of next season, he could well be a future England left back.
