GK: DEAN HENDERSON (CRYSTAL PALACE) - Henderson kept two clean sheets in January and conceded the fewest goals as Palace continued their rise up the table. He was helped out by having a solid defence in front of him, but he still played his part by making a number of important saves along the way.
RB: OLA AINA (NOTTINGHAM FOREST) - Aina has been excellent all season for Forest and he carried his good form into January. Defensively he was as sound as he has been all season, whilst going forward he always offered threat.
CB: MAXENCE LACROIX (CRYSTAL PALACE) - Lacroix was solid right throughout January as Palace had the best defence. It took him time to settle into the Premier League like it did for Palace's other summer signings, now he's looking like one of the signings of the season.
CB: MARC GUEHI (CRYSTAL PALACE) - Guehi was back to his best in January by putting in a number of solid performance right throughout the month. The Eagles had the best defence in January and his return to form has played a key part of that. It's good that they've managed to keep hold of him also.
LB: MILOS KERKEZ (BOURNEMOUTH) - Kerkez has been one of the standout full backs in the Premier League this season and he was my standout left back in January. He put in some decent displays at both ends of the pitch by being defensively solid at one and offering a threat at the other. It's no surprise that some of the big teams are interested in him with the season he's having so far.
RW: BRYAN MBEUMO (BRENTFORD) - January was a mixed month for Brentford form wise, but Mbuemo still turned up when needed as he ended the month with 4 goals from 5 games. He's enjoying his most productive season in the Premier League, and the bees will be desperate to keep hold of him this summer, as there will no doubt be a number of clubs interested in him.
CM: KEVIN DE BRUYNE (MAN CITY) - Man City found some form in January and so did De Bruyne. It's been a frustrating season for the Belgian so far due to injuries but in January, he was back to his usual self as he registered 4 assists to help City climb back into the top four. City will need him to keep up this kind of form if they're top end the season strongly.
CM: PHIL FODEN (MAN CITY) - Foden was back to his best in January as he scored more goals than any other player with 6. His return to form has coincided with City's and whenever City have played well, hje has often played well.
LW: JUSTIN KLUIVERT (BOURNEMOUTH) - Kluivert has been one of Bournemouth's standout performers this season and he was arguably their main standout in January. He scored 5 times in January as the Cherries kept up their push for Europe and s beginning to live up to his potential and his father's name.
ST: ALEXANDER ISAK (NEWCASTLE) - Isak carried his fine form from December into January as he scored 5 goals in 4 games. His goals were key in Newcastle keeping up their push for Champions League football and if he can stay fit, they have a chance of being in that competition next season.
ST: JEAN-PHILIPPE MATETA (CRYSTAL PALACE) - Palace began to rediscover the form they were in towards the end of last season in January and so did Mateta. He scored 4 times in January as Palace continued their rise up the table and if he keeps up this kind of form, he and Palace could have a strong end to the season, like they did last season.
