The draw for the FA Cup 4th Round was made yesterday and there are a number of interesting ties to look forward to next month.
This is what I think of the draw.
We could have some shocks coming from League One sides in Exeter, Mansfield or Wigan, Birmingham, Doncaster and maybe Leyton Orient, if they win their rearranged game against Derby. Leyton Orient will have the toughest tie out of all of them if they win their game against Derby as they'll be up against Man City if they beat Derby on Tuesday. Exeter and Birmingham also have tough fixtures as they'll be facing in-form Nottingham Forest and Newcastle respectively. Mansfield or Wigan meanwhile will face Fulham, depending who wins that rearranged game, and Doncaster will be up against Crystal Palace.
We could also have upsets coming from Championship sides in Coventry, Blackburn, Plymouth and Burnley. Plymouth, who knocked out Brentford in the third round, have the chance to cause another giant killing as they'll be facing Premier League leaders Liverpool, which would be one massive giant killing if they were to pull off another one. Last seasons semi finalists Coventry will face Ipswich, Blackburn will face Wolves, and promotion chasing Burnley will face Southampton.
We also have a few all-Premier League ties to look forward to in holders Man United taking on Leicester, Brighton facing Chelsea, Everton taking on Bournemouth and Aston Villa facing Spurs, which looks like the tie of the round.
